Students Nurses Association (SNA)
The Student Nurses Association (SNA) in the Government College of Nursing, Thiruvananthapuram plays a pivotal role in nurturing the professional and personal growth of nursing students. Established as a vibrant platform for student engagement, the SNA aims to enhance the skills, knowledge, and leadership qualities of budding nurses through various educational, social, and extracurricular activities.
The association provides opportunities for students to participate in health campaigns, health plays that bolster their academic and practical nursing skills. Additionally, SNA organises cultural events, sports meets, and community service projects that promote teamwork, communication, and community awareness among students. Through active participation in the SNA, students develop a sense of responsibility, confidence, and a holistic understanding of their role in the healthcare sector.

Kerala Govt. Students Nurses Association (KGSNA)
It is the association of the General Nursing and Midwifery students in the Govt. sector. It is affiliated to KGNA. KGSNA also conducts state level conferences and arts and science competitions for its members. The association also conducts quiz programmes, medical exhibitions, and other charity works (Drug bank for poor patients, Blood donation forums etc.)

Kerala B Sc. Nursing Students Association (KBNSA)
KBNSA is the state level organization of B Sc. Nursing students of the Government Nursing Colleges in the State. The Association aims to promote a co-operative spirit among students and to uphold the dignity and honour of the profession. KBNSA organizes educational co-curricular activities, annual 24 Govt. Nursing College, Thiruvanathapuram conferences, inter collegiate meets and gives awards/prizes to the students, for the overall development of the students. Membership fee - Rs. 2000/-

National Service Scheme (NSS)
It is an active organization in college which was inaugurated in 2006. The overall aim of NSS is to orient the student youth to community service while they are in their educational institutions itself. The motto is “NOT ME BUT YOU”. NSS volunteers of this college conduct various community oriented programmes such as medical camps, educational sessions, street drama, health exhibitions etc. They also observe the days which have international and national importance. NSS volunteers under the guidance of the programme officer, organize different programmes in the college such as quiz, debate, symposium etc.

Kerala Nursing Post Graduate Association (KNPGA)
KNPGA is a state level organization of post graduate students studying in Government Nursing Colleges in Kerala, under Directorate of Medical Education. It was established in year 2014. KNPGA was formerly known as PGNSA. The association aims to promote a co-operative spirit and professional enthusiasm in its members. KNPGA conducts various curricular and co-curricular activities such as continuing nursing education, workshops, mock M.Sc Nursing entrance examination for MSc aspirants.

Students Union- Kerala University of Health Science
The University Students Union functions under the Kerala University of Health Science. The elected representatives of the Students Union and Students Union Advisor takes initiatives in conducting programmes in the college like College day, Arts and Sports events and Academic programmes aimed at the overall development of the students. Membership fee : 2000 Calender 2022-23 25 7. Alumni Association It is the association of the former students of this college. After the successful completion of the course, students are enrolled as members of the Alumni Association. The association conducts educational sessions, annual conferences and interactive sessions. The association maintains the college web site and sponsors books and journals for the college library
