Government College of Nursing Thiruvananthapuram is the pioneer institution of Nursing Education in Kerala started in the year 1943. Ours is the first institution in the state to start BSc Nursing and MSc Nursing courses. Our college is a renowned PhD centre for Indian Nursing Council , Kerala, University of health, sciences, and university of Kerala. The laboratory facilities of the nursing college are well equipped with latest technology providing students with hands on experience.

A hostel building is available for girls within the campus. The hostel provides accommodation for more than 350 students and has a divided mess facility.

The college provides opportunity for students to get experienced in various clinical areas according to their curricular purposes.

How can I apply to the nursing college?
Admission to the college is done by the controller of entrance examination (MSc Nursing), LBS Center for Science Technology (BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing & Post Basic Diploma in Nursing) and Directorate of Medical Education (General Nursing and Midwifery). The admission is based on the rank list prepared by the concerned authority as per the government norms. The candidates should present with admission memo and all the required documents before the college authority on or before the proposed date of admission.
